Butterfly Valley Near Olu Deniz

Take a boat trip from Fethiye or Olu Deniz beach to this inaccessible beautiful valley where there are rare species of butterflies. Butterfly Valley was a until the past 2 decades unspoiled by humans and is now protected. For thousands of years, its inhabitants were only the butterflies, local flora and fauna. The only other real access than by boat is a dangerous path to Faralya village above the valley. The flora and fauna here have stayed mostly undisturbed for thousands of years. If you are lucky you may see Turtles Nesting (maybe not so lucky for the turtles). Please respect this endangered species. Also Eagles, goats, Mediterranean seals, red fox, rabbits and unusual flora can also be seen.
